About Attorney Cohen

Attorney Jesse C. Cohen practices law throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, concentrating in the areas of firearms law, criminal defense, and civil litigation.

Education: Attorney Cohen is a graduate of Tulane Law School, where he concentrated his legal studies on Constitutional law, search and seizure and suppression issues, criminal procedure, and litigation. He also participated in the Project for Older Prisoners; an advocacy group working to parole imprisoned senior citizens.

Attorney Cohen graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brandeis University, with a bachelor of arts in Political Science and is a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society. He has served as an intern and criminal investigator for the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia while attending the Justice Semester at the American University in Washington, D.C.

Community Activities: In addition to representing his private clients, Attorney Cohen provides his legal services to indigent defendants, unable to afford legal representation, in the Middlesex County criminal courts (Massachusetts) as a public defender.
